CCS (Convergence Communication System) is an integrated communication platform that combines radio, video, and data to support real-time field operations. It provides essential features through both the Monitoring Center and hybrid radio devices to ensure secure and efficient coordination.
The Monitoring Center includes user management for setting names, passwords, and group assignments. Channel configuration allows focused communication by assigning user priorities. Messages can be broadcast to all users, channels, or individuals. Live Video Viewer enables receiving live feeds from the field, while the Submission feature allows receiving image or video reports. GPS tracking helps monitor user locations in real time or view historical routes, and work zones can be defined through the Area Restriction feature. User status (online/offline) is also visible for better command oversight.
On the device side, CCS radios support Push-to-Talk (PTT) for instant voice communication—individually or in groups. Users can check each other’s status and replay conversation history. Field personnel can also send live video reports. Multichannel Listening lets users monitor multiple channels simultaneously. Multimedia messages (text, photo, video) can be sent to users or groups. Priority Talk allows urgent interruptions, and all visual content can be sent directly to the Monitoring Center. Hybrid devices also support UHF and VHF frequencies, ensuring communication coverage in various conditions.
Together, these features provide a powerful tool for field coordination, situational awareness, and fast decision-making.
